Let's Talk Neutrals
Fashion houses tend to focus on the pantone colours of the season for their more avant garde styles and create a trend which lasts sometimes a few weeks and another time, one season into the next. What is never out of fashion though and is always popular is a neutral, otherwise known as mole, coffee, mocha, beige, camel and of course taupe.
Taupe is one of the few colours that almost everyone can wear as it is neither cool not warm in hue. A perfect neutral. On this basis it makes for good investment pieces as you can dress it up with accent colours of choice. Taupe nails are timelessly elegant and these nails will go with ANYTHING and interestingly many brands are featuring taupe in their October ranges especially in the top to toe tonal look as seen here with Abbey Clancy's new range for F&F.
A continuing fashion trend is all shades of grey from dove to charcoal to metallics to sparkles. Make Believe is a stunning ombre style coffin shape in a rich plum hue which is incredible with greys of all shades.
RED is back with a vengeance, and it’s HOT, and as tartan is also a big fabric trend you can take your pick with the colours, blue, green browns and of course red tartan look amazing, and if you don’t feel you can go the whole ‘kilt and caboodle’ then just a scarf brings you right up to date.
We have many reds in the Nail On collection but a new variation is this new painted tipped and nail art almond shaped Treacherous which takes this red to the magenta range. Bang on trend and great to wear with the reds of your choice.
