Our Love Me Mission champions issues and charities that mean something to you, our community. Whether that be raising awareness to help save lives, or raising vital funds for our charity partners, we aim to be a force for good. The causes we support are chosen by our community and that’s why they're close to all our hearts.

  • MISSION ONE: GYNAECOLOGICAL HEALTH AWARENESS

    Everyday in the UK 60 women and people with gynae organs are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. Awareness of these cancers is shockingly low and that’s why we are supporting The Eve Appeal,* the leading UK national charity funding research and raising awareness into the five gynaecological cancers - womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal.


    We will be supporting The Eve Appeal by improving awareness of gynae cancers with our community and raising funds from sales of our Nail On in Chilli Red and Strawberry Red. *(Reg Charity No. 1091708)

RAISING AWARENESS

Do you know the signs and symptoms of the five gynae cancers?

Ovarian

  • Persistent bloating
  • Persistent pelvic and abdominal pain
  • Unexplained change in bowel habits
  • Difficulty eating and feeling full quickly, or feeling nauseous
  • Needing to urinate more

Cervical

  • Bleeding between periods or after sex
  • Pain during sex
  • Discharge that smells

Vulva

  • A lasting itch
  • Pain or soreness
  • Thickened, raised, red, lighter or darker patches on the skin of the vulva
  • An open sore or growth visible on the skin
  • A lump, mole or swelling on the vulva

Vaginal

  • Unexpected bleeding
  • Discharge that smells or may be blood stained
  • Pain during sex
  • A vaginal lump
  • A persistent vaginal itch
  • Pain when urinating
  • Persistent pelvic and vaginal pain

Womb

  • Bleeding after the menopause
  • Bleeding between periods
  • Bleeding that is unusually heavy
  • Discharge that is blood-stained (pink, brown, red)
