So we bid a sweet farewell to the Merry Month of May and welcome with open arms Juicy Month of June.
So much happens in June from a social perspective. You have Buckingham Palace Garden parties (other garden parties are available) through to Royal Ascot and the opening serve of Wimbledon fortnight. Pride season kicks off plus its all about the festivals from the big Glasto experience right through to the local village festivals.
Fashion wise it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The designers will try and shoe horn us down a well-trodden path of what’s ‘In’ but the retailers, having had a pretty awful wet spring, will be zealously doing all they can to get us into some frenzied summer shopping.
In reality you’ll know from previous blogs that the Fuzzy Peach Pantone colour of the year can be found pretty much everywhere, the trend for floral dresses continues, and jeans need to be wide leg. So colour wise, as always if I’m honest, White suddenly becomes IT.
You won’t go wrong if you decide on some white items of any kind with broderie anglaise being a thing and everyone should have a cool white shirt (or 5).
